  • I was keeping an eye out for bicycle shops in the Valley and spotted Landis on my way to a friend's house. Coincidentally my road bike was in the back of my car because of some minor shifting issues. I stopped at Landis to see if they'd take a quick look at it. A friendly staff member took my bike right away and checked all the gears, the brakes, lubed up the chain, etc. He found a small misalignment in my rear tire and made an adjustment. He did all of this for free and wished me a good day, inviting me to come back to the shop anytime. I had spotted a jersey I liked but didn't have the time to buy it. I came back a second time and bought a high quality Landis branded jersey. They really took care of me, going above and beyond my expectations as a customer. Landis carries well-known makes like Specialized, Trek, CervĂ©lo, and Felt, and bikes for all types of riders. They have a good clothing and accessory selection (jerseys, shorts, gloves, helmets, etc.), as well as cycling nutrition needs (Clif Shot Bloks, Stinger waffles, gels, etc.). Their website is also excellent, providing a complete FAQ section, forum, cycling tips, online catalog, and shopping. Their customer service, experience, expert advice, and variety of selection is second to none. It's no surprise that Landis has been around for so long. According to their LinkedIn profile, Landis Cyclery was founded in 1912 and has been family owned and operated since then. I will continue to go to Landis Cyclery as my first stop whenever I need anything related to cycling.
