I feel similarly unwelcome (a lot like Mashie's review) and although I'm a chick who admittedly knows next to nothing about fixing my ride, I do know about decent customer service in TO.
I own two bikes purchased at the Kensington location and over the years have had service/just visited both locations. Consistently cold, off putting demeanour from staff
who seem to intend to discourage customers' curiosity and learning about BIKES (which one might assume is their passion.)
What does employee training consist of here really? Is this a not-for-profit operation?
Geez.
Perhaps they think it cool. I thinks it's small minded; provincial.
Last wk, I found a new bike shop I like. Am so glad:)
