  • My boyfriend and I watched The Boy and the Beast last night for date night and we loved it. I hate watching movies (yes, I'm unAmerican or just the spawn of Hitler) but enjoyed the film and loved the experience. FilmBar advertises itself as an indie cinema and it is just that. It plays older indies and cult classics in a smaller and intimate setting with just a couple of rows of seating. If I haven't sold you already, FilmBar sells food and drinks for you to enjoy while you're watching the movie! And if you're not feeling the food offered on site, you're welcome and encouraged to bring your own food- that's nuts! If you're on the fence about whether or not you want to spend two happy hours at FilmBar laughing and laughing some more, check this out. The marquee on the outside of the theater gives a Brittney quote: Sundance movies are weird. You actually have to think about them. Does that not say it all?
