  • Truly love this resort. The staff were wonderful. The food was delicious. The hotel itself was welcoming and comfortable. My husband and I chose Sanctuary for a quick staycation and we are so glad that we did. We didn't feel like we were at home, we felt like we were someplace else! During our stay there were some rooms being renovated. I have seen some comments about rooms being outdated. I'm fairly certain we ended up staying in an outdated room, but we still enjoyed it. The views were amazing and it had a very FLW feel about it. Didn't make the hotel stay any less wonderful. I LOVE the pool. So quiet and peaceful. Do yourself a favor and get a Jalapeño margarita. There are rules regarding specific days when children are permitted in the main pool (they can still use two other pools on the property any day of the week). I think this rule is amazing, and I have kids. The quiet atmosphere is what people come here for. Enjoy it! The Jade bar is awesome for drinks and sunset views. Sanctuary will cover all of the details here from when you check in, to turndown service in the evenings, to when you check out. The staff were intuitive and genuine. If you really want to escape and take a break, or even if you are passing through and just want to treat yourself, this is the place to do it.
