  • My friends and I used to have a saying, "Nothing good happens at Selwyn after midnight." Expect things to get blurry if you're here late. This is like a little slice of a Chapel Hill college bar in Charlotte. Come for the amazing outdoor patio (warning: it gets crowded on nice days/nights, Masters weekend and when the Tar Heels are playing). Drink light beer or bourbon. Wear your boat shoes. The food is so-so in my book, but that's really not why you're here. Pro tip: Michael Jordan and Gov. McCrory are both known to pop in to Selwyn for a drink. Act cool.
