Myself and husband went to go see Jumanji at the Red Rock Cinemas and we were completely disappointed with our experience at the concession stand. Like many theaters this location now serves beer/wine in a designated line. We arrived to see our movie at 1:20 but realized because of the holiday there was going to be a major wait in line. I gave my husband my ID that shows I am over 21 (actually 37) and went and got seats for our movie. It was packed, but again it was expected. What we didn't expect was the poor response time in the concession line and the terrible customer service. My husband did not make it to our seats until 2:05 the exact time the movie was starting. When he arrived he handed me my glass of wine and asked him what happened and where is his drink. He explained that there were several people in line for the "beer/wine only" line that were not ordering those drinks but ordering other concession items. He said that the service was slow and that they attendants were not in any hurry to get the line moving. Once he finally made it to the front of the line he tried to order 1 glass of of wine for me and 1 beer for himself. He was told that only 1 drink per customer. I can understand this policy if the seats were reserved. How were we to both stand in line and get decent seats when it took him 45 minutes to get a drink? He asked to speak to the manager and he was told by that manager that "sorry this is "regal" policy". He told the manager why don't you have appropriate signage that says "1 drink per customer"? The manager offered nothing but excuses. I am sorry that is unacceptable. We have been going to the Cinemark movie theater at the Century Orleans because they have reserved seating, appropriate wait time for concessions, and it only cost $8.25 for a matinee. We will no longer be going to this theater after such a terrible experience.
