This review is for the Liberty Village location (171 East Liberty St. #145).
Got a Groupon to Mint for 1 year on 6 small areas. Technicians do not bother to explain the process to you and you basically dive in head first not knowing what to expect at all.
I also suspect they dial down the intensity of their treatments
One of the receptionists (brunette with thin super-arched eyebrows. When you see her, the first thing you'll think is the b-word) is incredibly rude. The phrase "the customer is always right" does not exist in her vocabulary as she will not try to accommodate your needs whatsoever. For example, I tried to change one of the areas I had chosen for my Groupon after I completed my first session. The receptionist at the time said I could change it on my next visit (no charge) because I realized I didn't want one area treated. When I came the next time.. the brunette receptionist said "I don't know where you go this information but its incorrect. If you want to change it's a $85 fee." we argued for a bit because I was convinced it was a problem on their end (if a receptionist from your business told me one thing.. regardless of what you think shouldn't you try to make up for the mix-up on your end?) In the end, she cuts me off mid sentence and says " do you want to change areas or not, I'll do it for free just hurry up".
The next incident, I called because it was the infamous Toronto 2013 rainstorm. At the time of the call, the freak storm had not started so I was uncertain if rain would actually come. A receptionist picked up and told me "It's not like I have zero common sense, I know if its raining you're not going to come" Oh.. Okay then.
Technicians are nice albeit rushed but the receptionists need to learn a thing or two about being humble and act like they actually care about their customers
