| - It's funny that being a huge beer lover and having grown up in Lakewood, that it took me 7 years after I turned 21 to actually go into Rozi's.
I was impressed, it's a great little store in the middle of Lakewood that really is a hidden gem. I was able to find a good selection of single bottles (including Bell's expedition stout, normally $4 per bottle, for $2.50 per bottle, and also a limited edition Hitachino beer that I hadn't seen before at ANY place in the US). Their six pack prices are decent too, and they have a good row of coolers with pre-chilled selections.
I thought their "homebrewing" section was a little lacking, as I didn't see any pre-packed extract kits. These are usually really convenient for a small homebrewer like myself, so I was disappointed that they just had components (I didn't have a recipe handy, so I didn't end up getting any supplies).
Lastly, they have a great selection of mead, something which is usually overlooked by both beer and wine shops.
So great variety, great location, and great prices make this the place to go. Also, they rent taps and sell kegs, so this is a great party place as well.
I no longer live in NE Ohio, so it's not a regular stop for me, but if I was still a local, this would be on my list for shopping.
