I appreciate the night market theme and that is captured fairly well. However I wasn't overly impressed by the vendors. Many of them were clearly amateurs, which I eagerly support, but the quality was not all there. The BBQ scallops and oysters were not as fresh as needed. The Banh Mi was sub par. The stinky tofu - look I'll eat anything that attempts to be good, but smell is 70% of the eating experience so when it smells disgusting, it is disgusting.
The washroom facilities were way under resourced. The south side had only one sink and it was out of water. With messy food and kids, that's a recipe for disaster.
Lastly, and by far most importantly, this is a dry event, not a beer tent in site.
