  • This property was close to a conference we were attending so we decided to give it a try. We booked it through Flipkey, from whom we 'thought' was a private owner. (more on that later) The unit was very roomy and nicely appointed, especially for a family of 4. Super comfy beds (even the sofa bed!) 2 large tvs., and a FULL size kitchen with all you may need to make meals. We especially appreciated the in-unit washer/dryer! (can you say teenage boys???!!!) I can not comment on any on-site food offerings as they were undergoing a renovation during our stay. The pool area was nice, and kept the kids occupied for a period of time daily. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Several things to note: there are NO elevators, so request a ground floor or first floor if hauling luggage and bags up 2-3 flights daily is a problem for you. Upon checking in we were told that they needed to 'check our room' to make sure it was ready BEFORE they could give us a room number, and we were asked to step over to another desk for additional information while they retrieved that.... NOT SO MUCH...we had been handed off to a time-share sales associate who wanted to sign us up for a 90 min. presentation! We could not politely decline and walk away immediately... BECAUSE WE HAD NO ROOM NUMBER OR ROOM KEY YET! While the sales associate was very nice, I felt ambushed and 'maneuvered' and I did not appreciate this at all! This is my ONLY real complaint with the property and the ONLY reason I might not consider returning or recommending it to others. It is one thing if someone knowingly books a place at a discount in EXCHANGE for sitting through a sales presentation...it is quite another thing for someone like us who paid in full and in advance...then were hijacked during the check in process. It felt underhanded and I did not like it! In summary, from a 'location' standpoint: this was functional, lovely, great location, and well appointed for our stay. Just BEWARE the ambush tactics for a sales pitch especially upon check in!
