| - Whoa! What happened? The service at the Coffee Shop used to be so great. It used to be nothing but friendly, helpful people giving "service with a smile." But today? The exact opposite.
So, to The Coffee Shop employees, in case you don't know this already, this is how it works: when you forget to put in an order so that only one of our meals comes out to us, but the other meal does not even get started until we ask where it's at 15 minutes later...that is YOUR fault. You should apologize; and you should not look at me like I'm being a trouble maker. [I'm still waiting on an apology, by the way.]
And when a customer has a complaint, do not stand there doe-eyed and silent hoping that the problem will just go away if you stay quiet enough. That's not how it works. Instead, address the issue: admit the mistake and correct it. And when you deliver the missing food -- the mistake YOU made -- do not drop it on the table like you're doing me a favor and I'm lucky to be sitting there.
And no, it wasn't just me having a bad day or something. The table next to us overheard our complaints, and chimed in how appalled they were at the horrible service they received today too. In fact, the palpably bad attitude left such a bad taste in all of our mouths, I don't think any of us could really appreciate how good the flavor of the food was. I know I couldn't/didn't.
I hope the owner/manager checks up on their reviews. Because if the service to be expected is anything like what we received today, we will not be back.
