| - I was on the fence with this one as I didn't really like the food that much, just parts of it. We had potstickers, a hamburger, and the shortrib rice. Everything was prepared perfectly, I just didn't like the recipes as much as others have (at least what we had).
The potstickers had a nice crispy fry on them, but I didn't care for the filling (utterly forgettable) or the dip (mostly balsamic). The shortrib was wonderfully cooked to perfection as was the rice, but the sauce was the flavor star and the dish needed more of it. I wish the side was something more exciting than a salad with more balsamic. We had the basic hamburger and it was perfect and very flavorful. the Chef has hamburgers down pat, perfect crust and it got to Mom exactly as she asked. It really tasted fantastic too, they don't put much sauce but the patty was so juicy. The fries were also great, thin and a nice mix of crispy and softer ones. they have ranch easily available which I love as a fry dip.
Service was great, very friendly and very attentive with drinks. The location is kind of fun if a bit seedy inside the Eureka, one of the diveier joints near the strip. I gave it a high score because of the perfection of the meat in both our main dishes, kind of wish we had tried one of the bao apps or the grilled cheese instead of potstickers though.
