Was here just yesterday and it wasn't a bad place. If there was a 3.75 star rating I would give this place one.
Here is your typical dessert shop but tucked away at a lower level than surface level. Have to be on the lookout in case you may accidentally walk by it! The place is of a small size so it can hold maybe 30 people tops if not just under that. There were a few tables and some booth-type seating which was cool. There was a cake display of all their cheesecakes they had to offer when you walk in and we were there mainly for their cheesecakes anyway. So this review is based soley on that.
Everyone who worked there were friendly so no issues there. The cheesecake was actually pretty good especially the New York Cheesecake my friend had. It was more moist, creamier and softer than usual, or at least compared to the other places we've had it at...I got the cookies and cream cheesecake and it was also pretty decent. Wasn't too sweet but wasn't bland either. Just perfect in the middle so I wasn't dying for water. They also had the option of regular water or water with oranges/lemons so that was a nice twist but we had to get it ourselves. Not that it really matters but definitely different than every other place I've been because other places would give us ONE glass of water...as if we would survive with all the sweetness with ONE glass of water...I'm sure we could have asked for refills but I guess my point here is that we could get refills at our own discretion so that was good!
I'd return if I was in the area to test out the other cheesecake flavors cuz I do have that sweet tooth in me to do so :) but I also want to see if the texture and make of the cheesecakes are consistent (comparing them to the new york cheesecake we had).
