  • Took the tour from Las Vegas to Hoover Dam. Our tour guide, Sandy, was fabulous. Great info about the strip, Boulder City, and the Dam. Took the 30 mins boat tour, and Jeff, our boat captain was informative and personable. I highly recommend this. If we had more time, I would've liked more time on the water. Note- we were evacuated from Hoover Dam when we headed to tour the power plant due to a gunman threat. Sandy did an amazing job staying calm and getting us out quickly. She was really pro and constantly showed care for us.
