I haven't been to Baskin Robbins in years but got some coupons in the mail and decided to give them a try since the store is right down the street from my house and I thought it might be a nice change from DQ. One of the coupons states buy any sundae get one for 99 cents. In the small print it says may not be used on 3 scoop sundaes, banana splits, brownie sundaes, warm cookie sundaes, banana royales, soft serve parfaits and kid's sundaes. I know a lot of limitations. I go online to look at the menu and see what is left. On the menu they have an Oreo layered sundae. I click on the description and it does not say it is a 3 scoop sundae as the others do in the description nor is it listed in the exceptions on the coupon. I drive to the store and enter. I am the 11th customer in line but the three young ladies are working hard and the line is moving. I make my order and present my coupon and am told it won't be honored because these are treated like a banana split. I say that is not what the coupon says and am informed they can do nothing about it. They lost a sale tonight and a customer in the future. Make sure if you try to use a coupon you read all the small print and double check before you order that the store doesn't have their own fine print.
