rev:text	I suggest any community that is thinking about using firstservice residential to steer clear of them. Since they've taken over as the management company of my subdivision they have literally made my neighborhood hell. They don't properly maintain the common areas as well as the other company did. If you don't pay your bill within the 15 day grace period, which mind you I signed up for their SurePay program but for some reason it didn't draft the payment in time, they will send you a bill including the late fee which I think is acceptable and normal but they will also add on a $20 rebill fee. After receiving that notice and realizing the payment was never drafted through their SurePay, I paid the bill immediately with my credit card..the late charge as well as the rebill fee but they recently sent me a letter and now they added on a $50 demand letter fee. I called them and they said I can try to submit to have that demand fee removed, which you would think when I look up in the records that I paid the bill before that letter was sent they would automatically remove that $50 fee. What I don't understand is how they can add all these random fees without notifying people prior that these fees will be charged. Plus this was all within 45 days after due date that these fees racked up. They sent me a very threatening letter, which I thought you couldn't even threaten somebody to be sent to collections unless bill is over 60 days. I think this management company will actually depreciate property value more than anything, I'm considering selling my house so I don't have to deal with them anymore.
