We went and checked this place out last weekend, and it was not bad! I didn't have any sort of preconceived notion of what Hurts should be...I've heard a lot of people raving about Hurts but haven't paid any attention to what was supposed to be so special about them. Their donuts were absolutely a work of art, so that just kind of made them fun to eat. The donuts were sweet...and for the most part pretty good - sometimes just a little too sweet. We went in the middle of the day on a Saturday, and it was dead. Bonus for us. I was slightly (OK more than slightly) disappointed that the price difference between a half dozen and dozen was $3...it made them feel a little overly pricey. My heart belongs to Greenbush, I've just never eaten another donut that beats them yet...so I won't be in some big hurry to go back, but when we do - I'll probably shell out the $3 just to try bacon maple long john. I won't be back anytime soon though - not because of the quality, but because I ate so many donuts over the course of two days that even writing this review is making me feel a little pukey. :(
