I've been passing by this interesting looking place every few weeks as I travel between up and down town. I finally gave it a shot during their reverse happy hour. The regular happy hour is 4-7 and reverse is 10- close.
During happy hour theres half price starters and some discounts on drinks. If your looking for something thats a great value the Garage is perfect. No where else can you find great items like 4 medium sized lamb chops, or a giant cheese and meat plate for 7$ each, really cool and good for the price.
We also wanted to balance our our meal with some sides which were about 5$ each, generally you get bland sides at happy hours or many bar / restaurant combos but these were unique and tastefully done. The lemon risotto was executed well but could have used a little seasoning, the mac & cheese was technically perfect. The blend of pastas was done really well, the creamy sauce held up and didnt turn into a giant heavy block like a lot of mac & cheese does.
Overall i'd recommend this place to anyone looking for good food at a good price. Perfect if your looking to unwind or looking to find a good date spot without breaking the bank.
