  • I didn't want to purchase the extra insurance on the car for $40/day, but the woman at the counter said they were having a special promotion, and that it would actually end up being more expensive if I DIDN'T get the extra insurance. After looking online, I'm fairly certain that was just plain wrong. I called the next day, gave my phone number and rental number, and said I wanted to remove it. Never got a call back. The rental ended up being way more expensive than I had originally thought. tl;dr: Nice car, but I was tricked into paying too much and then ignored when I complained.
