  • I did not have any issues with the staff, booking appointments etc. Got email responses in a timely manner. Service was better than expected seeing all the poor reviews. Have had one treatment for laser hair removal so far, of a 1 year package for full brazillian. I have had laser before. Yes it was odd that the "clinic' is a separate business inside of a health foods store, but does not affect the service. The one thing I did have issue with was the technician. Sorry, I don't remember her name, seemed like she was in her 50's. She asked if I was interested in laser for other parts of my body. I said no. She pushed saying it's a good deal and she can get it all done at once. I said no, did not think it was necessary. She says I should remove the hair on my arms. I said no, I am fine with the hair on my arms, which I find to be quite fine, and I don't want to shave the hair on my arms (before treatment). So she says "lie down" - now at this point I am fully clothed. I looked at her funny and sat hesitantly down on the bed. Unsure if she was going to do anything before the treatment. She says "you have to take off you pants!" I am surprised she did not leave the room. Not professional at all. I should have asked her to leave the room, but I was in too much shock. I will ask her to leave next time. The treatment was the same level of discomfort as other Soprano treatments. Time almost the same. But again I was surprised when she said she was done. I asked if she was going to go all the way down. (To my butt - sorry TMI). She said she did. I know she did not. Usually I am asked to hold my knees. I have other friends who have been asked to turn over at other clinics. I did not want to insist bec frankly she intimidated me and I was worried she could burn me. It was not an awful experience, it is what one would expect from cheaper, cut rate clinic. This ain't no spa. It was what I expected. Next time I will be more firm with the technician, and hopefully have a better experience.
