  • For the briefest of moments...you will find yourself on the top of the strip, with a great view in all directions, in a bubble that looks way larger when you are in it than it does from the street. If you go at night (as we did), you'll have a fantastic view of the strip, but the other 270 degrees will be pretty dark. Why don't the mountains have lights on them? During the day, you will have a full 360-degree view of the area, strip and all. As far as photos go...it'll be easier during the day; pictures at night will definitely catch some reflected background. Day - see all the things, photo all the things. Night - see most of the things, REALLY see the strip, get creative to take good pictures. Figure out what you want to see more (or do both), but, day or night, definitely don't skimp on the open bar car. It was a modestly priced Groupon, and the top shelf vodka cranberries kept finding their way to my hand from all available directions. Pro tip: get a nice big refill just as you are about to get off, and then walk around with it. Travel drink! The experience itself was a lot of fun; having never been to Vegas (and coincidentally being very thirsty for Cape Codders) I was able to get a great view of the area while playing a drinking game with myself, called "free drinks for 30 minutes so have another and another." I definitely won. Our bartender was great; he had no problem making strong drinks, and took a lot of pictures for us. Just in case you want to know what you are looking at/how high you are/want to be told a funny/punny joke, the pre recorded video guides you every step of the way. Regardless of how exactly you choose to do this, know that 30 minutes goes by really quickly, but it will be worth it.
