| - For full transparency, I'm a Yankees fan. I'm used to watching AL baseball and the rivalries on the east coast. I'm also used to extremely high prices, terrible parking, overcrowding, and older stadiums (Fenway sucks!) Of course, the NEW Yankees stadium is wonderful. The people are, well, northeast fans. They can get a bit over active (i.e. rude, loud, etc.) at times making your experience different each time. This can be VERY fun or not. The weather is completely unpredictable. Etc., Etc., Etc.....It's just the northeast.
I'm transplanting in Phoenix, AZ (and lived in San Diego for quite a while). Therefore, I will be adopting the Dbacks and Padres as surrogates in the NL realm. One of my best friends is a Dodgers fan so I have to root against him.
The Dbacks stadium is awesome!!! It's clean. It's close and easily accessible. It has a ton of amenities. The seating is fantastic. The pricing is exceptional ($8-$15 for a professional game?? Are you kidding?? Wow!!!). The retractable roof is amazing. I can't believe the AC units keep the interior SO reasonably cool (and that's on top of already exceptional weather). I was thoroughly impressed by my experience and fully intend to purchase at least a 10 game package this summer.
Overall, great job Dbacks, Phoenicians, and anyone else involved. I'm looking forward to the future in Phoenix.
