| - I went here with my mother and friend to get our nails done for my wedding tomorrow. It was not a great experience for my mother or I, who came out bleeding and my nails turned out terribly.
I got Vinh, she was silent, which is fine, but gets awkward when you're with someone for an hour and a half. I've never had such a painful manicure in my life, she WENT AT my cuticles and I was bleeding, not a pleasant experience. But I figured 'Hey if my nails are perfect, it'll be worth it'. They weren't. I brought my own Essie polish so I could do touch ups, but she painted on 2 thin uneven coats. I can see through the polish in some areas and my nails are all bumpy. She spent forever making sure my nails were all the same length, but none of them are filed into an even shape, I've got square corners, rounded corners, flat tops, rounded tops, and everything inbetween. Even after all that there were catches in my nails. I could have done a better job myself, and for a $30 manicure this is ridiculously poor work. My pedicure was fine.
My mother showed me her nails and she was bleeding in three different spots from the artist filing her acrylics down.
This was the worst nail salon I have ever been to in terms of quality of work. I shouldn't leave with poorly painted, uneven nails, and bleeding. I just wanted to get out of there. I thought that by picking a 'best of' salon and paying extra I'd make sure I got quality work. Definitely not.
Thanks for ruining my nails for my wedding!
