I walked into the Next Care Urgent Care office at 914 N Scottsdale Rd in Scottsdale to be seen by a medical profession, after waiting nearly an hour with only one person in front of me. I was lead to the back office.
I begin to tell the PA about my allergic attacks I have been having, and tried to show him the hives on my back and arms, he was not interested in looking at any of them ( As I was showing him my arm, he put the BP cuff on the same spot I was showing him) and turn his back. He did not care about anything I was saying. He walked out of the room and said we need to get a urine sample. I said can I have some water first? he said we don't have any water bottles, I said there are cup on top of the water jug. He said there is not any water and then I would have to change the water bottle. Besides having to give urine I was also very thirsty. He was rude and unprofessional, all he seemed to care about was me leaving. He acted like I was a homeless person and could not be bother with helping me. I have never been treated so rudely and unprofessional at a clinic. I was very upset. At that point, I did not want any medication from him.
I am not sure why, but he decided from the moment he saw me or my skin color I was not worth the time. I can't believe Next Care employs a PA like that.
I called the complaint officer on 6-15-2017. She has yet to return my call.
We of skin color should boycott Next Care Urgent Care or he should work in another establishment.
