  • Whoa so what a bummer to see that one scathing review with all that name calling! I've been delaying writing my review but I guess I have to "stand up" for this place because I really love it. Now, granted, I can't afford to travel to Italy every year to - no joke - just drink a proper espresso but I like to believe I have pretty good understanding of the bean. Anyway, with that out of the way. All of my experiences at Mothership have been pleasant. I love the decor. It's small and not very cozy, sure, but I love the tables, the floor, and signature blue cups. Everyone behind the counter has been nothing but friendly and accommodating. The vegan pastries are outstanding, my favorite being the twinkie or breakfast pastry. Gotta get there early though because they sell out fast. I'm not into the nitro brew or pour over just a good old latte with soy milk. Also got a bag of their beans to go and regret not buying more. It's a little pricey but one of the better coffee places in the area and I go several times when I'm in town.
