  • We've attended this event two years in a row and were very pleased. Admission includes samples of food from approximately 25 restaurants in the Valley. They aren't the typical restaurants featured at festivals. They're good restaurants like The Salt Cellar, Pig & Pickle, and Cowboy Ciao. Admission also includes 12 samples of wine and/or beer. It's about a 2 - 3 ounce pour, a nice amount. PBS cooking celebrities give demonstrations and participate in panels. One year, the woman actually walked around and talked to people in the crowd. This is a perfect gift for yourself and someone you love, or a very cool gift for a friend or boss. Lines were longer this year, but there was ample shade when we wanted to rest. Wear a hat and sunblock.
