Thanks to this place having a bit of social media drama I knew I would be able to find a seat here on a saturday night.
Service was pleasant & orders of simple dishes (bruschetta & meatballs) came out just fine. The wine bottle list was reasonably priced with a nice variety of quality offerings from respected winemakers. While the vintages are a bit young it's nice that they provide decanting. Our Runquist petit sirah was a nice find. And i look forward to trying out more as their wine list does evolve & change regularly.
The live music from the "lounge" style singer was a nice touch. Sets a nice comfortable intimate vibe while not being so loud that it interrupts conversation. Lighting could have been turned down a bit, the brightness makes you feel like youre in some corporate chain restaurant.
I hope the management team & their employees find a way to maturely conduct their business to prevent more of their problems being aired like dirty laundry on social media. They have something good here, the city would benefit from a well thought out wine bar of this type, & they have some hard working bartenders & servers here, I wish them success.
