Food: 3.5, Service: 3.5, Atmosphere: 4
Cost to worth it rating: 3 (most special breakfast items like benedits or half and half $12)
Opentableable: no, kid's menu: yes (with coloring)
Return worthiness: sure
Highlights:
- Large menu: from omelettes to pancakes, skillets and lunch sandwiches, there a great variety. Portions were large too.
- Decor: diner style with cool art pieces. Many egg cartons painted to look like the American flag (also a Pokestop). Also a big US map on one wall with pictures of iconic items from that state.
- Skillets: liked my chicken, chorizo, and green chile one. Loved mixing a sunnyside up egg with the hash browns and proteins. Hub got the insane meat lovers one which had chicken fried steak, sausage, ham, and bacon covered with white gravy. 4 stars
- Eggs benedict: looked a bit sad and hollandaise was borderline neon but taste was on point. 3.5 stars
- Pitcher of water: maybe they're used to dehydrated people in the desert but leaving one for us was greatly appreciated
Midlights:
- Protein pancake: they're famous for this yet I didn't quite enjoy the granola nestled in the batter--it isn't as appealing lacking crunch. 3 stars
Lowlights:
- Didn't realize they had a variety of mimosas until I saw the tent towards the end of our meal.
Solid casual place I'd come back to.
