  • I get into town @ 5pm, check into the hotel by 6pm, and immediately panic that I'm there too late to really enjoy the spa. Much to my surprise, the front desk tells me they're open till 10 (on a Wed!) and promptly makes me a massage appt. My guy was ok, not the best massage I've ever had (I pref more pressure), but he was very sweet & still managed to put a stupid grin on my face for an hour. Good thing I was face-down most of the time so he couldn't see me. The spa itself was luxe and had some amazing spaces, including a coed outdoor waterfall heated pool (meee-yowww), an airy common area to enjoy spa refreshments, an awesome-and-I-mean-awesome steam room w/ eucalyptus aromatherapy, swiss showers and hot & cold plunge pools (clothing optional). It was definitely a nice little fantasy-land escape. As a Fairmont Presidents Club member, I got a nice spa discount too, so be sure to join before you go and remember to bring your bathing suit if you want to get into the coed pool.
