  • We bought an AC Tune-Up deal online. The guy came out and told us we needed a new outdoor fan motor, and it was going to be almost $750. We called another company to get another quote because the quote they gave us was above the high end according to an online Pricing Guide. The second company inspected the unit and told us the motor was fine. We almost wasted $750 repairing something that wasn't broken for way more than we should have paid even if it was. We will never use this company again. Update: The second opinion was wrong and two weeks later my AC is broken. We still think the repair estimate was high.
