First time trying Ethiopian fare! Wasn't sure what to expect! Went on a Sunday night, only a few other tables in there. The interior itself was pretty basic/bare.
We each ordered the vegetarian sampler ($14.50/person) and our waitress didn't tell us what was what. She did not explain anything to us but was friendly enough.
I liked the collard greens, carrots/cabbage, and one of the chickpea dishes.
Did not like the cold split peas or the dish that resembled applesauce. The bread that we ate with was good but has a strange texture! I enjoyed trying all of these items!
I would definitely try this place again and see if they had any spicier dishes (nothing in our sampler was spicy). I also want to try the beer that I read people review on here.
