I went to this store the other day. I wanted to buy some matcha green tea for smoothies that I make at home. The lady tries to sell me on green tea that expires in a month. She said that she drinks the tea that is more than two years past its due date. I agree that there is a shelf life for approximately six months after the expiry date, but don't aggressively push it onto your customers because you want to sell it at regular price and before the past due date. Like most other consumable products, green tea can go stale and bitter after the due date. This is something that I should not have to bring up to this store's employees. If they are pushing tea that is about to expire, what else are they trying to sell you?
