  • My husband and I took this route based on directions we got online while traveling to Huntsville in September. Being from the USA, we are used to paying for toll roads. What we were unaware of was the fact that we could not pay while on the road. Even worse was that there was no indication of this until we were already ON the road! Just got our bill. $18.46 to travel 32.7 kilometers. That's almost $1 PER MILE!! Not only was the toll amount outrageous but they tacked on a $4.00 "video charge". While it might work for locals that can use it daily, is this how Ontario wants to treat tourists? If so, be assured we won't be spending any more of our hard earned dollars in this province!
