  • I LOVE Metro Diner! We have only lived in Matthews for a few months, but this place has been my favorite discovery so far. I lived on the coast of North Carolina for many years, and never found a place that made crabcakes benedict there. It is a breakfast to die for! I have raved about it to my coastal friends and my new friends that I work with uptown. I did once get hashbrowns instead of the grits that I ordered, but they were so good that I didn't send them back! The servers are always friendly and I always leave full and happy!
