  • As a test, I went to three passport photo places to see which would score me the best shot. I've never had a nice passport photo, and I'm super picky as a photographer myself. So I went to Shoppers ($12.99 for 2 photos), another place further south of St. Andrew on Spadina ($7.99 for 2) and this place ($6.99 for 3 photos). The first two were horrible. The Shoppers' one was the WORST of all of them, and most expensive. The guy at this place was super friendly, took the time to edit out blemishes and uneven skin tone, and had really good lighting gear compared to Shoppers (built in flash) and the other guy in Chinatown (cheap tin reflectors). Took about 5 min for the whole process. And he gives you an extra photo, which your boyfriend can steal for his wallet, like it's 1959! Highly recommend this place. Don't be afraid of Chinatown.
