  • Was up in the Cleveland area for an event and stayed at this Hampton Inn. It is relatively new, about 1.5 years. It looks it. Everything is clean and bright, although based on the staff we interfaced with I am sure they are going to keep it that way. Person as desk, when we checked in, was very pleasant and welcoming. Room was great. Definite plus on the bathroom, lots of good heavy towels. Room had lots of places to plug in and USB connectors. Breakfast room was very large and the young women there was keeping a close eye on things and kept everything nice and clean. Nice selection of food for breakfast and they kept it well stocked. When I am traveling and stopping at a hotel I want a place that is clean, well maintained and courteous staff. This hits all those marks. Also, I usually try to workout. They had a good fitness center which had plenty of equipment for use. They also have an indoor pool, however we did not use it. Lastly, there are times we have stayed at a hotel and there have been younger (kids) groups there attending local sporting related events. That is all good, until it gets to the late evening and the kids are running up and down the hallways. They have a nice / reasonable policy there for "sports" groups with kids. It is basically, come early evening no running, etc. allowed. When we checked in and commented about the poster with this information the desk person told us that if there are any issue please let them know and they will address it. Kudos for facing this issue upfront.
