My wife and I were looking to buy at least a dresser and chest of drawers, and possibly a dining set.
We liked the furniture, we liked the store, we found pieces that were a great fit for our home and budget.
The problem? We were in the store, all over the store, for over an hour. Salespeople avoided us as if we had plague. One saleswomen specifically went out of her way to avoid us on three different occasions.
We wrote down the items, prices, and headed home where we promptly ordered the items online. Upon leaving the store and getting in the car, we both agreed that no one deserved a commission.
Our experience was forwarded with our order in "special instructions.: Perhaps someone will follow up and try to correct our negative experience. Will update if the delivery experience and/or any follow up merits.
I REALLY wanted to love Bob's, but I can't. Our market is thin on furniture stores. For now, the showroom is just that for us -- a showroom. We will check it out in the store and order online in the future.
