Go for the scenery, skip the sweets. Tried a cupcake and macaron, both of which were average at best. For starters, Bobbette & Belle is exceptionally heavy-handed with their buttercream, which is great if you enjoy cupcakes topped with mounds of butter instead of proper icing, but is otherwise kind of gross. Macaron cookies were decent but the filling had a funky, almost grainy texture. If you're looking to shrink your jeans and wallet with pricey baked goods, go to Prairie Girl for cupcakes and La Boheme for macarons. Bobbette & Belle may not compete in terms of actual taste but they do know how to create a beautiful space. The wedding cakes on display are breathtaking and they have a lovely wooden farm table topped with fresh flowers.
