  • This might rank among the worst experiences I've ever had! No kidding. I stupidly didn't read any of the Yelp reviews prior to purchase like I normally do. Huge mistake! I arrived for my facial and the salon is in an old run down shopping center but I didn't judge it by that. The décor is cute so that wasn't an issue. The people working there all looked like they haven't bathed in weeks. I should probably just leave it at that. A woman who I thought might be a customer based upon her attire, came to get me and told me she was my therapist, Rose. I wasn't going to judge her on the fact that she was older and didn't quite look the part. She seemed nice enough. We got to the room and it was VERY small but I was going to be laying down so I didn't care. It was dark but you could tell it was not very clean. I was reluctant to lay face down but I didn't want to cause a scene either. I went along with it when I should have left. There was a shared common wall between the room and the kids dance studio next door. Kids were loud- yelling and making lots of noise. The massage for supposed to be for a hot stone massage. Well, I've never had one before so didn't know what to expect. She took two and rubbed them on my back for no more than a minute. She then simply ran her hands up and down my skin like you would rub the back of a baby or a dogs belly. That was it all over. The same technique for legs and feet and hands and arms. She then did some weird move on my head and it did not feel good or relaxing or a massage technique. She stretched my legs which is odd in a massage as well. It's obvious that she had no formal training in massage. As she was massaging my head, she was breathing hard into my face which was also disturbing because she had really bad breath. She was a very nice lady but I cannot say that her service was even a one star. I did tip her $10 out of pity- when she saw it in my hand, before I even extended it, she snatched it right out of my hand. It was weird! Now I'm arguing with Groupon to refund my money. I didn't even use my facial portion and I don't want to! They are refusing to refund any money even though their policy states the following: "If you used a Groupon voucher before its promotional value expired, took a Groupon Getaways trip, or attended a GrouponLive event and were disappointed by your experience, contact us within 14 days of your experience and we'll work with you to make it right. That's the Groupon Promise! " They used to be a reputable company and now they are full of crap! The guy is arguing with me on chat saying they can't do anything about it. It's ridiculous. I am calling the bank now and disputing the charge and I am also calling the local media to make this stop! DO NOT BUY THIS GROUPON. I am positive that the owners friends are writing any good reviews or the people saying how great it is, never had a great service! Check out Yelp reviews as well. We all can't be lying!
