  • I thought it was time to write a review, even though I purchased the used vehicle about 3 months ago. Being from Ontario, I had first contacted them via email through autotrader.com. At first and even up to the end of the transaction, there were no pictures posted of this vehicle, the dealer never provided me with any, telling me the vehicle needs to serviced as part of a recall first. After it was done, I had asked for them, still didn't provide. Knowing that in Quebec winter tires are a requirement, I asked what tires this comes with. They told me 4 winter tires. I also asked where the original tires were. Supposedly the off-lease customer kept them ;) There was a lot of back and forth with very little information. There were days that this Salesperson Jason never answered. For being an "experienced" salesperson, having worked for Cadillac before, he is very inexperienced, lacks proper customer service skills. Ahh another thing that bothered me is that this dealership withholds the VIN # so you can check Car Proof for "fraudulent" reasons. Whey don't ALL dealers in the States do that and freely provide VINs. I think dealers in Canada ARE fraudsters and withhold it because they want to do tricky things to customers. Anyway, I somehow got it and got my Car Proof which luckily showed a clean vehicle. "At the end" the dealer offered to give me that, even though it should've been offered at the beginning so I can make an informed buying decision, back to not providing the VIN. They do everything in their power so you DO NOT make an informed buying decision. If it wasn't for this vehicle being priced right and having low mileage, this deal would not have happened. Moreover, when I kept pressing Salesperson Jason for information, and after I already purchased my train tickets to Dorval, he threatened me with reneging on the deal, even though they took a hefty deposit from me. Is this the kind of dealer you want to do business with??
