  • My wife and I were approached with tickets, dinner, and slot vouchers for listening to a 90 minute presentation on vacation/timeshares from Sapphire Resorts. What a Bunch of scammers. Apparently the name has changed numerous times. Now they are Sapphire Resorts. Their office and presentation room was on a floor at the Jockey Club. These clowns pull the sleaziest and highest pressure sales tactics. The three scammers consisted of the "Sales Guy". (AKA your new best friend) The "Presenter" (AKA The fast talking charlatan snake oil salesman) He is the one telling jokes, throwing out numbers and lie after lie. Finally, the "Closer" who is disguised as the person taking the survey after you have exhausted the word "NO". As they sit you down after the presentation in a room full of tables and balloons there is a person who rings a bell when a "deal" is supposedly reached with another group. That was as fake as a three dollar bill. Then the sales guy in front of you turns to the bell and claps. I couldn't take it. I didn't know whether to laugh or yell SCAM at the top of my lungs. These guys should be in a TV show called Scammers. I am pretty sure that I heard more lies than truths. Tickets to a show were fine. They are at Planet Hollywood or Miracle Mile mall. We went to a Animal Comedy show which was funny. Dinner voucher was legit. We ate at Lombardis in the Miracle Mile Mall. Slot vouchers were a joke on a run down Casino Royale special slot. You could only won with a jackpot. It was raining so my wife and I went. We are very credible sales professionals in the Chemical Industry. We would have been run out of our careers after a single lie. These guys told hundreds of lies. I could go on and on. If you have two hours and it is raining or you are bored. BUT DO NOT BE SUCKERED INTO SIGNING ANYTHING. Lastly, we were told 90 minutes from start to finish. It was 2 hours. My wife was getting pissed off and started to put her coat on. She said that she felt like she was having a panic attack. The closer said some smart ass comment like "no one is trying to hurt you". Pretty snarky comment after he finally realized he was not scamming us. They finally relented and gave us our tickets/vouchers and pointed to the exit. If you have any other thoughts about signing anything. Please please google these piles of ..... Really wonder how these guys actually sleep at night. The most bottom of bottom feeders. Disgusting.
