  • Had a confirmed appointment for a small drywall repair ($375) due to a kitchen leak. Appt was confirmed a couple days out and again the very morning of the repair. The timing of this repair was critical and I explained that I had cabinet that were going to be installed the next morning over the drywalled area. A couple hours from the appt. one of the owners (I believe he was an owner) called and explained they had to "likely" cancel due to the fact that he couldn't get a guy out there - "it's not a big job" "hard to find a guy to do it" "everyone is so busy right now" blah blah blah. When I explained that we had a confirmed, time sensitive appt his response was "I'm in the same boat as you with this". Really? I don't think so - excuses in construction is so common - try to be uncommon. They were nice enough, but if you don't have a large, and what they consider a "profitable job" you will get sidelined and deemed a low priority - I would forget about them if that is your situation. They made it sound like being "busy" was a hassle and a challenge, when in fact it's a blessing.
