  • I wanted to take the time to thank Rachell Allen Nclex Review (most especially Jennie Anne, Ryan DeLeon, and Nirielle Marquez) for being a part of my RN success! For those of you reading this who have taken the NCLEX several times, DO NOT GIVE UP! I understand the struggle - the anxiousness, tears, endless nights of wondering, "WHEN WILL I AN RN, LORD!?" It will come. It says in 2 Chronicles 15:7, "But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded." Well, my journey started in 2014. After talking to some friends, I decided to take a self-study NCLEX course. Honestly, I couldn't really focus... Although I had the opportunity to dedicate every minute to studying. I was distracted and not able to discipline myself. And I didn't have much confidence either... I always used the excuse, "The test is too hard for me to pass." After 2 failed attempts with self study, my mom had told me to try Rachell Allen. I took my first RA course in 2015. All the information I learned from nursing school started to come back to me. I do know this stuff, I said. So I was sure that I'd pass the third time. Studies for hours and was disciplined this time. But yet, I failed. I was irritated. Thought that maybe it wasn't in Gods plan for me. I took a break from studying for the NCLEX and decided to work. But eventually, had a tug to take the class again. So, after a year 1/2 of not studying, I re-attended the class in September 2017. This time, I told myself it would be as if I attended the class for the first time. That I would enjoy EVERY activity no matter how "corny" I thought it was (lol sorry Ryan... the first time I did not really participate.) And I really listened not only to what Jennie and Neri had to teach, but what Ryan had to say. He said something that really hit me. He said that some of us aren't passing because we WEREN'T confident in ourselves. And I knew that's why I had failed after all these years. It's because despite having ALL the material in the world to study, I did not believe that I could do it. And so, during the class not only did it help me to recall what I had learned over the years, but it allow ed me to change my thinking. The exercises help so much to retrain your brain to think POSITIVE & REFOCUS. After the class was over, every morning I played the morning audio and I also envisioned the amount of questions I was going to pass with, the date of my test and the number of hours I'd take me to complete the NCLEX which was 75, October 15, 2017 in 2 hours. And you know what? On October 15 in less than 2 hours, at 75 ?'s I got the blue screen. I wanted to cry in tears! I couldn't believe it. I left still a bit anxious... but after 2 days, those unofficial results said PASS! And now, I write this as an OR RN! God is so faithful. And I thank Rachell Allen crew for sharing their WISDOM! Again, do NOT give up. Have you ever seen the cartoon picture of the miner? He has been cutting thru lots of dirt and after so many years, he gives up... what he didn't notice was he was only 1 swing away at the gold. Do not let that be you. Trust in the timing of your life!
