Do not take your vehicle there for service. Took my 2013 Silverado there because the check engine light was coming on and giving a fuel pump code. There was a bulletin about a fuel pump relay going bad. The relay was bad, but the dealership said that it was a bulletin not a recall so it was not a warranty item. They wanted to replace the fuel pump too but that was $1300 vice the $500 for the relay. Dropped it off on Friday and was told they would look at it by 0830 Saturday. Got a call Saturday afternoon saying they had to replace the fuel pump because the relay wasn't working with the old one (not fishy at all, right?). They said it would be done Saturday. Monday at 4pm finally get a call that it's done. I needed a courtesy car to come get me so I could get the truck. They said no problem sending one now. 520pm I call back to see where it was. They thought he had got me already but he was back at the dealership. Service closes at 6pm, so they send the courtesy car out. On the way in I get a call from the service writer. He wants me to give him my payment information over the phone since it's past time for the shop to close and the cashiers want to go home. This is without a receipt, walk around the truck or anything, for their convenience. I reluctantly give it to him and the keys are waiting at the desk. No service person in sight.
Two days later I go to put fuel in the truck and it immediately hits the ground and splashes me. I look and I see daylight though the fuel port. There is a hose hanging down underneath that I might have seen if I'd been given a walk around by the service department after it was ready. I drove it back over to them and I don't think they realize how dangerous that screw up was. One spark around the open fuel line and a fire or explosion could have happened.
When I get there they hop right on it. They offered me a water and an apology for making my truck a potential fire hazard. Oh and a tank of gas.
Poor customer service and poor craftsmanship.
