| - I am writing this review to see if anyone else has experienced this at Bill Luke. I had FINALLY found the perfect Jeep Grand Cherokee- my dream Jeep, and called Theresa in their Internet Sales Department to confirm that the vehicle was still available. She had run my credit the week before and sent me personalized pricing for this "dream Jeep" after confirming that it was not only available, but would be up front waiting for me to test drive when I came in.
I loved the car, and spent 2 hours with the salesman, Doug. He preached about how amazing Bill Luke was, how they will do whatever it takes to take care of the customer, how I will see what he's talking about, he takes care of customers he likes, I am going to love this Jeep and he's never seen a better deal come across his desk. He had me drinking the Bill Luke Kool-Aide as well, and I was so excited to drive that car home. I was in the process of removing the license plate from my trade-in when his Sales Manager approached me with a somber look on his face. "Kevin" he asks, shaking his head "Are there any other stock numbers that you might be interested in?" I looked at him, confused, and said "Other cars? No. Not even close. This is the Jeep I have been looking for, and for 2 months". He then proceeds to inform me that the Jeep I had just driven, and signed paperwork on for 2 hours is no longer available. "Someone just bought it online. I told you, we have the best prices in own and this was an incredible deal, someone just acted faster."
I was so mad I wanted to cry. The way the Sales Manager (I forgot his name, just remember him being a tiny little man) broke this news with no empathy and no remorse left the worst taste in my mouth.
I ended up buying a fully-loaded, certified Jeep from their competitor last night, and can promise Bill Luke that they will NEVER, EVER see one penny from me or anyone I know. And by the way, the deal I got last night was even BETTER than what I found at Bill Luke, so I'm not even mad anymore. I just want to get this story out there so others can heed caution.
