  • I've gone here a few times now, with mixed results. One academy student I went to was friendly but completely unimaginative and couldn't give me any suggestions except for a trim. Another student I had seemed to be in a bad mood, yanked my hair while combing (to the point where tears were jerking to my eyes) and barely said two words to me the entire time. Today was my worst experience yet. I called out of courtesy to say that I had car problems, had run (literally) home from the beaches to downtown, and would (literally) run there, but would only be 10 minutes late. I spoke with someone who went to verify that that was fine (normally 15 minutes is allowed, max) and was put on hold for 5 minutes, then cut-off, then put on hold for another 5 minutes when I called back... By the time I finally spoke with someone, I could've been there, and at that point, I couldn't make it within the 15 minutes window. I was told that I would have to rebook. So I basically took 2 hours off of work for squat all. When I asked when I could rebook (I'm now thinking of cancelling purely out of principle) they could get my in for a cut at the same time as highlights and suggested I just come in another day. Right.... because I can afford to take of 3 afternoons of work...
