| - What a beautiful restaurant in the Wynn. I wouldn't expect anything less from a Michelin star awarded establishment. As a former Hawaii and Los Angeles resident, I consider myself fully rooted in Chinese food. The service is spectacular and I love the little stool they brought out for my purse to sit on.
Started off with an order of the dumplings, or potstickers. They were good, the skins were on the thin side and the meat insides were moist. As a table we shared our entrees. We got the peeking duck, tofu and bok choy, salt and pepper prawns, chicken, and garlic noodles. The peeking duck was quite the experience. They brought out the duck whole, just to show the full creature before taking it back to cut it up. They then returned to wrap individual duck, onion, and pancake (tortilla like) mini wraps. I would note though that I'd prefer almost to do it myself. Then people can add and subtract the ingredients you like. Everything was very flavorful and consistent. When you go to a Michelin star establishment, it'll be more for the atmosphere. I didn't feel like the food was really anything special. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but for just the food the prices don't hold up. I won't be returning but if you are looking for a beautiful Chinese food experience, I'd recommend this location.
