  • So I have been coming to this EOS location since it opened in November. I come down here pretty regularly because it is close to my job and when it first opened, it was a beautiful gym! Well, the honeymoon phase has come and gone for me in regards to this particular EOS location. As before I was always up to come here and work out even when I didn't feel like working out, I have been reluctant to come lately. The equipment is not even a year old yet and already needing repairs. Stationary bike has a lose screw and can't hold the bars without it rocking around. Screens on some of the machines either don't work or are starting to go. The women's locker room smells, especially the shower area. The metal on the floor is rusting. After going to other locations to see the difference in quality, I can see that the quality here at Pecos is going downhill quickly and like I said, this location is not even a year old yet! I don't ever see any staff out on the floor cleaning and members at this location are nasty as I NEVER EVER see anyone wiping down their machines after using them! And I mean NEVER which is just plain GROSS! People never seem to rerack their weights either. Anyway, I digress and will end off on a positive note. No matter your fitness level, I think EOS is a good choice, even at this location. There are lots of equipment to choose from, basketball court, cinema room, group fitness classes, a spin studio, pool and jacuzzi, kids club (if you are using cardio equipment with screens, there is also a channel in which you can watch the camera from inside the kids club and keep an eye on your little one) and a sauna. I've taken a couple of spin classes with Courtney on Saturday morning in the spin studio and she and the class are great! The price is great also. I have been paying $25/month and get to access all classes, bring a guest, and go to any location of my choice. However, after going to a few other locations around Vegas, it has become clear to me that this location has a lot of work to do to get up to par with the others. I'll most likely be cancelling my membership soon and looking for something closer to home. I really do hope that management takes my suggestion into consideration from my first review and open a location in Sunrise Manor.
