  • This place is hard to find. Do not follow the Yelp map. Google it and use those directions. Great find in the West Valley. Very nice service and nice selection. The bison are kept on site, so this is about as fresh as it gets. Prices are a bit of sticker shock if you're used to getting meat specials at the grocery store, but here you know where the meat comes from and how fresh it is. I read a lot of ground meat in grocery stores is re-colored and re-packaged several times. So that ground beef for $2/lb might not be such a great deal. Bison is a unique meat. I tried the bison bacon. It was very flavorful, but I forgot to add a bit of oil so it tasted dry. Second try was much better. The bison steaks were very tasty and grilled well. If you're looking for a more natural and local option for your food source, I recommend this place. The price may mean less meat in your diet, but that's not really a bad thing.
