Not my favorite place to stay on the strip.
When PH was Aladdin, the hotel was actually quite nice... Then again, I stayed there when it first opened at the time. Even though I was much younger, I remember the smell of newness and the kick @$$ view of the Bellagio fountain.
I recently stayed here for a bacholorette party and both of our rooms had some issues (i.e. the blinds were not working properly, hallway lights not working). Although the staff was quick to remedy the problems, it just wasn't something we wanted to deal with on a relaxing weekend away. I will say that the beds were very comfy though! It also didn't help that we came during one of the worst weekends (MayPac).
The place has aged, no doubt. The clubs have changed. It's also a bit of a confusing layout. I bumped into multiple people who were trying to figure out how to get to their final destination. The gym on the other hand was clean and nice!
Gambling here is totally fine. The GoGo dancers at one section of the casino (Pleasure Pit?) are hot and distracting (even for chicks!)
All in all... Good casino. Okay to stay.
